Member kevins asked me to continue adding photos on a restoration that I'm in the process of finishing up. Bought these from a friend in the Branson, Missouri area (some of you may know him from "another" forum). Anyway, they were in absolutely pathetic condition but I saw the beauty in them. Just has taken a lot of work but I'm almost done. I had posted that I needed a floor tom but found one in New York and had it shipped. It was BDP butsince it was a rewrap, I didn't feel too bad about stripping it down to the bare shell and refinishing it since it was in great shape.
In these kit photos, notice that I had my WFL 15" 6.5x14 in the photos since it matched color and tone. Since then, I bought the Leedy & Ludwig snare (last photo) and have already refinished it. Since the photos I've also located and procured a Leedy shell mount cymbal holder and Leedy XL kick pedal AND hi-hat stand plus those are authentic Leedy spurs. Waiting for some vintage cymbals to show up in the mail and as soon as the lacquer is dry on the ft, it'll be done. Hope you enjoy and I'll post a photo with the ft when it's completely done.
P.S. Also notice that I have taken great pains in as much as I hand lettered the Leedy and Ludwig logo on the kick front head. A royal pain but it aded a lot IMHO.
