Just another snare I found in pieces at one of my older campuses...due to the presence of a snare bed, this one now works very well for orchestral purposes. I only wish it were the 10-lug version.

I had one of these sold it to my forum brother Kev, It sounds just like my slingerland soundkings which it is with leedy hardware. great sounding drum.

They are the Black Swamp W14CS Blue Coated/Stainless cable snares, although my first choice is the Patterson snares. I couldn't get those to fit though the hoop inserts. I put the Patterson's on my Noble & Cooley as well as my Tama Artstar.

I've got one with a blue and silver duco slingerleedy set. It is just a sound king but way cooler lugs.
