I live walking distance from them. I have bought a few items there through the years.

What infuriates me the most is when a store wont communicate with you, even after a few attempts to contact them. That's just shoddy business and ignorant in my opinion. This is a nicely stocked store of entry to mid line gear, but don't expect a knowledgeable staff. Trust me, very weak in that dept. They don't have much a pro level player would want, esp service. I wont go back, its very frustrating dealing with amateurs who think they,re pros...That's why when you find a drum shop you trust, stick with them and support them when possible. Don't waste time with people who don't show you the courtesy and respect you,ve worked hard to achieve over the years...places like LA Music!Lame

There,s lots more to my story, but I,ve wasted enough time with them.

Since you named one of the crew I can say I totally understand your point. They have a few ads that say "make an offer"..i did, and never heard anything else until I called to see whats up. "oh yeah, theres a higher bid than yours"..ok, so where is it now?.Talk to V, but he,s off today. Ok I said, and called the next day. V says,"i don't know, I'm not involved with this"..REALLY??. You,re the drum mgr!..and it goes on and on....more later, I need to stop, getiing ****ed off again!

Well, the name says it, don't you reckon? I mean "Vic The Stick" - the words "dodgy", "underhand" and "@rsehole" leap to mind straight away!

No further communication, which is what I figured. You can tell right from the start when you,re getting jerked around, but I was hoping this time I was wrong. I guess business like this really don't need the sales, in fact how could they when they treat people like this? Regardless, I wish them well and hope some day they realize what they could have had. There is another forum that knows these guys all to well, and you should hear his story!..Time to move on.

This has worn out, but it amazes me how many people have contacted me to say they have never heard of this music store. I hope they now understand how weak their position is in the retail industry....especially with drummers!
