I'm going to be doing some experimenting soon, and would like some imput (pics would be be best)!on how you guys set up your drums, what I'm lookng for, is how you impliment more than one snare, how you set up lots of cymbals (without a rack) I would also like to see innovative ideas, also any lefty's out there? would like to see how your kit is set up, another challenge is when you play out like I do, usually stage area is somewhat restrictive. so I can;'t go nutz with all kinds of stuff, but I would like to maximize my space. Thanks, Gary

Gary, You already know this but accessory clamps and arms for the cymbals is a good way to go, also Companies like DW make double cymbal stand, one stand but two cymbal arms, then mount other cymbals off that one stand, also accessories arms and clamps for cowbells, jamblocks, tambourines etc! plus a 20" bass drum with a rail mount or center post for small stages,

Your drummers not much good is he!? What you need is someone that's as good as me. ! John Henry Bonham !!

I'm with you, Mr. Slingerland. It's perplexing; the snare thing. I suppose when you're in a band of such, where you need a secondary, special snare sound, you go to the #2 unit (no pun). I also don't understand the second FT, right next to that second snare. I know I'm old and washed out (47), but I'm lost when it comes to those two extra drums. I'd love to read some good takes on the uses of these additional pieces. I got time and I could use a good read.
