Keystone Ludwig Black Oyster Toms

Loading...

Friends,

My father left me his set of 1963 Ludwig Black Oyster drums, the Ringo kit (tho he was a jazzer). Strangely he used TWO 13x10 toms, and tuned them differently. I'm interested in finding a 12 X 8 or 14 X 10 to vary the kit up a bit. Both of the 13x10s are cherry, with no pitting and all orig hardware. Please email me matt at peyton dot com. Happy to provide photos, discuss, etc

Matt,

Sounds like you have a Hollywood set, which were sold with two identical rack toms. If that's the case, I would strongly recommend holding onto both toms to keep the kit complete for posterity and just trying to outright buy another tom to use.
