Hey guys.Recently purchased a Gold Sparkle Kent snare (I seem to have a soft spot for the underdog drum co.,although I am basically a Ludwig collector)and the strainer handle is broken off.It is a very weak point in the design and seems to have happened often. This is the early American made strainer and the handle is rod shaped with cross hatching on most of it's length.Am looking for chrome but will take nickel.Thanks. Jim

I love Kent (Made in America time period though). I only have a steel shell of theirs but would like to get my hands on one of the old maple kits of theirs.
If you can't find a strainer the yamaha one that is similar to the p-85 has the right hole spacing so you can use it without mutilating it.
