I got this set a few years ago but I have rarely used it. I did tear everything apart to detail the drums and hardware, and all in all the whole set looks pretty nice. Included are the 4 drums (14" snare, 13" tom-tom, 16" floor tom, and 22" bass drum), a Slingerland hi-hat (w/14" Zildjians), 2 cymbals (22" Zildjian ride and a Paiste 602 formula 18" crash), and a Speed King pedal. Also included is the throne and trap case, all sticks (inc. some mallets and brushes), and a Ludwig cowbell and woodblock. A nice set at a nice price, so for more info call Tom PLEASE NOTE: These are in really nice shape, but after this past weekend I let the neighbors use them for a recording session and there is now a 2" crack on the edge of the Paiste. I collect 6 lug Slingerland snare drums. Let me know if you have any for sale. Looking for Yellow Tiger, Silver Veil Pearl & Turquoise Veil Pearl
Yah, and that 18" F602 crash is the star of the show.....what a shame.
There's also a very nice looking gold sparkle Kent kit up on eBay right now with a very reasonable BIN of $375.00 - No snare included, but that price is (IMHO) very good because of the floor tom and hardware included.
I'm still working on my 70's Ludwig so I'm not jumping on the Kent kit. Here's your chance to experience that "Great Kent Sound" for short money.
The C-List kit for $600.00 isn't that high, assuming the cymbals aren't cheapie Zils. The Paiste is a wash, but consider the matching 4 piece kit, Zils, hardware, case, etc... The drums alone are worth $400.00 - $500.00 if they are in good to excellent condition IMHO.
These kits are on the rise and have been selling for more $$$ while many other brands have dropped in price due to our sagging economy. Still way cheaper than a similar era Gretsch kit.
Very true!!>>>>>Also look for 6o,s Yammy kits. They sound so close to Gretsch i,d bet on a blindfold sound test you could,nt tell the differenceClapping Happy2
