At last, I have decided to buy it. Seller said it was from 60s. I really don't know, so I'd appreciate your comments and insights. It is 16" and weighs 1580 grams. It is not keyholed, but the hole is pretty big - 14 mm.

Hole. Notice the strange lathing around it. At first I thought the hole was enlarged by previous owner, but it seems to be perfectly smooth on the bottom side and it is in center of the bell, so the lathing is just unsymetrical.

I got it for 35 dollars.

(Oh, and thanks to Drumaholic for previous pricing!)

Weird.

It is very loud, clear and high-pitched and when struck against the edge, it sounds kinda church bell-like. I don't know how to explain it-it has sustain, but it isn't that deep hum of traditional turkish cymbals, it's also so high pitched, that it sounds just... different. I think I'll use it as a ride for some time and see how it will work.

Aaaah crap.

It has crack. About 1.5" long, you can see it on photo, it goes from stamp, from "& CO.". At first I thought I SOMEHOW made it today, but when I checked yesterday's photos I realized that it's been there before, but I didn't notice it.

I don't know whether I made it or the previous owner did... I didn't beat it very hard...

Now I'm sad.
