The Istanbul K from my "Over 50 great cymbals for sale" goes to ebay tomorrow. $900 shipped to lower 48 US states today for Vintage drum forum members.
in great shape, just a tiny bit of keyhole. 2150grams by my digital postal scale (rounds to the nearest 5 grams). The sound of this cymbal is pretty dry and austere with some of the classic old K trashiness and a ton of individual character. it has a prominent slightly metallic stick sound that never gets lost in the wash. It is controllable and blends well with jazz styles. Bell is a bit asymmetrical like many of these older hand made cymbals since the bells themselves were even hand hammered to shape. No signature visible under the bell.
Any questions, please ask away, and I am happy to provide other photos etc as requested.
