I would just leave them and not clean them.

Don't clean them if you plan on selling them. What's the diameter of the cymbals (in inches)? Also helpful to find out the weight in grams. Congrats, these cymbals are worth some money.

Hey just joined this thread after seeing this Err this is quite interesting, I have also just got hold of one of these cymbals today, for free. So i thought i'd see if they were any good

The signature at the top of mine is slightly more visible. including the turkish bit. When you say it is worth somthing, how much exactly do you mean.

I'm no drummer, i just told a mate i'd take the drums that were sitting in his shed, as he wanted them out of there. he got it free also.

Anyway, is there any way i can find out more information about this?

Yes, very good depending on size and weight, that is very important when talking about cymbals

I believe i have the same K Zildjian constantinople as the original poster. Wondering if they're worth much and maybe how i should go about selling it if its worth anything.

The weight will be the deciding factor.

Given the age of these cymbals they were probably orchestral and not a set of hihats. BUT if they are on the thinner side they make great hihats.

I'd put them up on ebay. Get an accurate weight for each of them from the post office and include that in your auction.

I'd guess that they could go in the $400 range. If they are thin I'd expect 50% more than that.

ahh, sorry just realised. Is what the original poster had, hi hats? Didn't realise that what he was talkin about were plural. My stupid fault.

I may have just confused things a little! Atleast what I have is only one and has the weight and sound of a crash, atleast so i think. Remember I am no drummer so you may treat me as if I know nothing, which is true!

Still figuring a way to get the weight of this thing. I'll take a walk around my uni until I find some scales!

I'll also try for a confirmation its a crash and not part of a set of hats. As soon as i find a weight you'd probably be able to tell anyway.
