[COLOR="Blue"]$800 or so....granted a vintage drum shop would probably tag it at about $1200+, but on the current market 8 bill$ sounds about right. BTW, that looks like a very nice kit.[/COLOR]

He said the rims on the ride are slightly out of round, is it possible to bring those back to true?

kevin, the answer is no!! diecast rims are even more of a pain than brass or steel rims to get back in round, i have had some luck with the brass and steel rims though. mark

Are these basically the same as Beverly,s??
The seller says "it's difficult to put the heads into the rims, but once placed on the tom, they move freely for the most part".
Should I ask him to measure across the rims, hole to hole, and to measure the drum itself also, to see which is really out of round?
For both rims to be out seems odd to me also, Jaye.
Wayne, I don't know how similar they are to Beverly drums.
Is it possible that he is trying to put standard heads onto a pre international drum and rim?
