Jay Bellerose/Phil Collins/Marco Giovanni?/Richie Hayward/Dave Smith with Robert Plan

Loading...

Does anyone on this forum know what cymbals&drums, heads&sticks the above gentleman used with Robert Plant ?,

On the subsequent recording sessions&live tours?,

I know Richie Hayward used Pearl drums both on RP's album&tour,

BUT DONT know both what series&sizes he used same applies to his Sabian cymbal set up,

same for Phil Collins,

Marco Giovanni?,

Jay Beelerose,

&Dave Smith's Ludwig set up,

It'd help greatly if both cymbal&drum companies would list on there artists page there setups!,

I.e. Hammerax, Ludwig, Zildjian etc! :(.

Asking here is a start, and some members might even have the answers. But I don't get the impression that you've done any research of your own. Just googling Jay Bellerose yields a Modern Drummer article in which he says that he played a 1943 or 44 Slingerland Rolling Bomber kit on the Raising Sand sessions and tour.

It's true that the motto here is "ask a question, get an answer." But to paraphrase the old saying, the experts are more likely to help those who help themselves.

This is a pretty esoteric request, so good luck.

For what it's worth I believe Phil Collins to be a Gretsch man... Zildjian too but I have no further details and that info may be outdated.

I like Robert Plant's solo stuff.
