Japan Acrylic Drum Kit Informaiton

Hey Guys,

Ran across a complete set of Werco Acrylic Drums in great condition. Comes with a 20" Bass, 13" Tom,

16" floor and matching snare. No cracks, dings or scratches (maybe a few minor) at all in the drums. The bass drum has acrylic rims and there is 1 small crack on the rim but can be hidden by the claws. Werco is Tama I think? The 13" tom mounts on a rail center of the bass drum. The bass drum has a bracket for a cymbal L-arm (which is included). Also, the lugs come to point on the bottom (kinda bullet type) and on the 13" tom only, the lugs are offset top & bottom. Like I said this set is complete and I have a copy of the orginal sales receipt. How much do you think this kit is worth? Is it rare to find a japan made acrylic kit? I have never seen one. Please give me some info so I can purchase soon if it's worth anything.

Thanks

I would say it's rare just because I've never heard of Werco. I knew Pearl made them, back in the day, but not Tama. The Pearl ones are rare. And they are sought after because of the seamless shells.

I don't know how sought after Werco is, just because I don't think a lot of people know about them. But vintage acrylics, complete and in good shape, are pretty collectible.

I would love to see some pics.

Those are Star (Tama) drums. Pretty cool too.

The Pearl CrystalBeats sound incredible.
