Always nice to see/hear a kit with a full front head in a rock context. Also that the drums in DW are always fairly 'live' rather than super clean, muffled and close miked (and probably sample replaced) like a lot of rock these days.

You know I was thinking the same thing.

Everything he does is so well thought out, so cool, it's brilliant. It sounds so messy but there a ton of thought and talent behind it. I used to think Meg White's drumming sucked so bad ... until I saw the White Stripes live and knew she was way more talented than the recordings. It's just that Jack wants a sound AND an image.

His Third man Records shop in Nashville is so crazy cool as well. And I had no idea of his killer drummer talents.
