Istanbul Sultan and Ottoman series, difference?

I have an Istanbul Pre-Split Sultan 10" splash, and I was watching this auction:

The lathing pattern is exactly the same as the Sultan series.

Could this be a good match to my Sultan 11" splash? My 11" is 322g, this 12" 437g.

I know they're hand hammered cymbals, but is it the same series, and did only the name change?

Ah, I see now, that the Sultan is lathed on the underside, while the Ottoman is not.

[COLOR="Purple"]Never had sen the Ottoman line before...guess it wasn't around for long. i like the idea, though. There was always something a bit lacking in the Sultan series, IMHO (meaning they are pretty good, but not as fantastic as a lot of other old Isty lines).[/COLOR]
