You make a great point but since I already have way too many drums passing was the right call for me. I can take rust, pitting and even wrap cracks but that splintered and reglued shell just turned me off.

I would have passed on it also after getting another throwoff running $50.00+ then the shell repaired you would have an expensive player drum. to each his own I guess?

Your drummers not much good is he!? What you need is someone that's as good as me. ! John Henry Bonham !!

From Olddrumgeek

Can anyone help with this. Am new to forum I have a supposedly 60s radio king snare, niles badge no 5603(early) but it has 10 lugs and no snare extension bridges, it's 5/12 by 14. Solid shell I think, and has 967a three point strainer. I apologise for not being able to send pics yet, as I know it would really help also the drum is a faded light green wmp. Can anyone explain why 10 lugs, and no ext bridges. About your drum I hope you find out why that is under the strainer.

Olddrumgeek: I also have an Artist snare from the 60s, (65), but mine has a Zoomatic. 10 lugs WMP, solid shell. I think probably special order for the 10 lugs. Love mine.
