In Praise of idrum4fun(Mark)!

Over the past several years, all of us on this forum have benefitted from the expertise and selfless devotion Mark has demonstrated in helping his fellow members solve problems or better their knowledge of these old drums we love! He has tirelessly researched topics and put in endless hours of his own time in order to aid others. I, for one ,have learned a lot from this gentleman and sincerely appreciate his efforts! Thanks, Mark! You are a true gentleman.

Brian

Just a drummer who loves all things about vintage drums! Nothing more, nothing less.

Brian! You made my day! Thanks so much for your kind words! I do what I do on VDF because I LOVE vintage drums and like to pass on my knowledge to others.

Thanks again for your kind words!

O-Lugs! Thanks for lifting my spirits. This whole Shingles thing has really been tough and I can go days without getting on my computer. It's people like you and Brian, not to mention many other VDF members, that make it all worthwhile. Thank you!

Enthusiasm, knowledge, reason and decorum. I like Mark.

And if you haven’t noticed, when things heat up a bit between members, Mark will slide on in and offer conciliatory remarks to each to get things smoothed out a bit. His intent is to quell the disturbance before folks say something that just can’t be unsaid. He is a master at being the peacemaking adult in the room.
