I'm a Sonor Guy

Loading...

I made the trade for this Sonor teardrop kit in a red oyster finish. I use to have a kit just like this years ago. The toms are 6ply and the kick is a 3ply with reinforcement hoops.

13,16,20

Then I get a text from my grandson's dad, he told me his roommate had left a bunch of "Band" equipment. I picked up a Shure kick mic w/stand, a Pearl pedal, a Camco pedal, a CB snare and a few stands.

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

I absolutely love this kit, I'm sorta surprised the guy wanted to trade for the Premier. That was a great kit too, but it did have a few extra holes, but these teardrop kits have a certain sound that is magical. I'm more comfortable with a 13,16,20, so that and it being a teardrop was a no brainer.

I'd love to find a band someday, but I'm not ready, I'm still having issues and I'm not sure if I want to do the whole gigging thing again. I'm not sure if I could handle it.
