Just wanted to say Mark is a heck of a nice guy..Thanks again

Thanks for making my day!! I moved into my new house a week ago and it's a daunting task to get everything in order. So much so, that there are days I don't accomplish much! I look at all my stuff that needs to be organized and put away that I just give up and go watch TV! Haven't even set up my 55" OLED tv yet, as I'm waiting for my motorized blackout shades to be delivered and installed. I have to make do with my "tiny" 37" LCD TV in the living room!

Worse yet, is that all my drums are still in the cold garage. All my kits are in soft cases and piled up in the family room, but everything else is in the garage. At least my snare drum collection is in boxes to somewhat protect them!

I'm able to type this on my laptop from my bed, as I finally set up my ORBI WiFi mesh system! Works great and covers the entire house!

Again, latzanimal, thanks for the kind words about me! Time to get up and see how much I don't get done today!! LoLoLoLo

If I do one thing a day to me that’s a start

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Thanks for pointing that out to me! I remind myself that many of the small things I accomplish at my new home, while not seen, are necessary to be able to get organized and put things away!

Hey Mark! Where do you live now?

Its better to have people think you're an idiot, than to open your mouth and prove them wrong, unless you doubt yourself then speak away....

Congrats on the new place Mark. I think I drove directly through your new town in late January (or maybe it was early February). I was visiting a former band member/friend in Simi Valley. I had picked up a car in Burbank and then I drove from Simi to Tucson and eventually back to Florida. Beautiful country out there. Stunning number of wind turbines heading through the pass on 10 and trains with miles of cars crossing the lowland. Surreal.

I moved last year, and to call it a daunting task after 21 years in the same house, is an understatement! I was fortunate in that one of the companies at my new job is a storage unit business. I was able to rent a climate controlled unit to store my drums in before, during and after the move. Took them out when I was ready. The only pill to swallow was moving them all at once! Probably 30 trips up and down the stairs!

14 months later, still haven’t done much in the garage so don’t feel bad!
