I looked through the serial number page (and round the internet) and am still having issues with identity. I just Bought a used Supraphonic in Guitar Center. I really don't have it front of me since it had been a used item and is about a two week hold for a police check. Never heard of this, but it is fine. Perhaps they should've just kept it off the shelf before it was fine to market. It's a B/O badge with rounded corners and a sequential number. This leads me to think it's a late 70s version. The serial number begins with 3019xxx. It is also lacking the muffler. Not really a issue either because I love to use a ring design muffler, but I'd love to meet the holes with what's inside them. There are two holes where it ought to go, but I have seen two distinct kinds of mufflers on Supraphonics - baseball bats as well as the round form. Any help will be appreciated.
Identifying Ludwig Supraphonic snare
sounds to me to be very late 70s into early 80s, being that it has rounded corners on the badge and not pointed corners. Also, it has a very high serial number, with the 7 digits. As far as the muffler, it would be the round pad with the knob tensioner.. the baseball bat style went out in the 60s.
Post photos when you get it, we'd all love to see it.

There`s also small hole under and small hole over the bigger one with attaching the muffler.
