ID this kit

Hi.

I bought an old drumkit the other day. The only problem is that the badges on all 4 drums are missing. The style and lugs remind me a lot of the old Star-series from the 60's. But there are some detals that doesnt add up.

As far as I know Star never used those kind of rims and they never used nails in that fashion for their badges. I'm asuming it's some kind of Japaneese-built kit. But does anyone have any ideas?

Its a pearl stencil kit. Very classy looking though.

Are you sure about that? Some part I can see is very Pearl-like but other's doesnt add up. And as far as I know Pearl never used some of that hardware. Or those kind of rims. At least not that early on.

If I had to guess I would say Majestic. I've seen majestics with that particular type of tom arm/mount. A good bet about a 60's japanese kit would be Pearl, though, since they made nearly every 60's japanese kit.
