i.d. help on a pair of zildjian hats

Loading...

hello folks.

i just aquired a pair of 14" zildjian hi hats that either are from the 60's (with the 3 dots in the arabic script u) or from the 70's (hollow paint logo).

my question is, can both the hollow painted logo & the 3 dots in the u on the cymbal indicate that is from the 60's or early 70's ?

see, i am confused, because i always thought that if the cymbal was from the 60's it would have the 3 dots in the u.

any help would be great.

Maybe could'a been right when Zildjian transitioned to using painted logos and they just too some of their factory stock lying around

They might be early 80's, when they were still using the hollow ink logo, but went back to the 3 dots in the stamp.
