Not working these days so after a few hours behind the 65 Ludwig, i looked in the corner and saw a few cracked AAX 18"s. I took them to the work bench and drilled them for one rivet each. I took them outside in the backyard to rig them beside the wooden chimes to get added sizzle sounds with the rain. It made me smile.

I think they look great! I'm at my new home and it's been raining for a few days now. Those cymbals would sound fantastic out here!

If you get a hail storm, you have to venture out and record it.

I wonder what kind of patina they're going to have after a year or two out in the weather?

i will leave them out there in rain, snow and scorching hot weather..They have been in a pile for yrs now, i would never play them. Hopefully it's going to take some of that shine away.
