home made 16" hats

Loading...

Bottom hat is an old Paiste 502 bronze power crash, top hat is old Sabian PRO series studio crash. Both of these were cracked when I got them. I tig welded the damage, then re-hammered the edges into a kinda sound edge style, for greater chik and to prevent air lock, i like them.

Thanks man! Yeah, so I used them at practice yesterday, sweet, sweet sweet, they have so much volume and just the right tone, I started riding on them instead of my ride lol. I think with these hats I could actually do away with my ride all together, crazy right? Anyhow I have these for sale on CL so I better not get to attached to them lol.
