Hey! Remember me?

Loading...

Sorry, probably the wrong place just to say G'day, but it's been a while since I last logged in and contributed.

Been busy with gigs and getting my life on track. I'm currently in 5 different bands which, as you can imagine, is something of a mind F##@!

BUT, I'm using my Luddy Downbeat for two bands and my Luddy blue sparkle mongrel for most of the others, so all is well really.

Anyway, just wanted to check in and say hello. I hope all is well and everyone is in a good place.

In the meantime, here's a pic of my blue sparkle mongrel.

Yeah, I chose the word carefully. Mongrel is apt.

BD is an 1976 18" FT I converted to bop size BD (thanks Burgundy for parts), FT is a 1970 15" marching snare I converted to FT, and rack is a standard 12x8", 1969. Snare is a '66 Supra. Great kit for jazz and cocktail rock. But mongrel is as mongrel does, I guess...

Holy cow- 5 bands. At least you have the right drums for the job(s).

I started with a new band last week and the members keep commenting on the great sound from the Luddies (new and old).
