Here's One You Don't See Everyday! Last viewed: 3 days ago

Stunningly beautiful, and the snare also. Note the use of traditional grip. I think I'm in love. And who wouldn't want those vintage 12" hats in their collection right now? This is a great picture. I can't be the only one here who fondly remembers playing on a similar mish-mash of unmatched pieces set up in some guy's garage or basement. So where'd the photo come from?

I belong to a non-music related forum which focuses on the "old neighborhood" that we grew up in and around. A fellow forum member happened to post the pic of this girl that either he or a friend of his dated "back in the day". I happened to notice the snare drum and contacted him to see if he still had it and if he might be interested in selling it. Unfortunately, the drum was sold ages ago. It's too bad. It would have made a nice addition to my collection.
