Hello everyone

I am trying to find out about an old Yamaha bass drum pedal.

Sometime in 1991 our van broke down and we had to hire gear for the gig.

The kit was nice..( cant remember what it was )..but what struck me most was the bass drum pedal.

It was a Yamaha,with the spring in line with the beater,that is,it went up from the post instead of down as they do now.

It also had a wing nut on top of the spring for adjustment,

All i know is,it beat my flexi flyer for response.

I loved it so much i offered the hire guys cash to buy it,but they wouldn't.

Can anyone help me in finding out what this pedal was?

If i saw a picture i could recognise it immediately.

,trouble is i don't know where to start looking fo r a pictoral history of Yamaha pedals.I've tried google searches but with no luck.

If i found another one i know i would want to buy it.

Can anyone help this confused Welshman?
