Hello:

Newbie here. Can anyone tell me approximately when this 14 x 5 1/2" Pearl snare was made? What is its relative quality? I found it along with a Gibraltar "CB700" stand. I'm planning to clean it up and give it to my 6th grader who's starting band in the fall.
