That is a 60s cymbal wearing 60s short stamp. See:

for why. The look of the lathing on the top and bottom is consistent with that. The treatment of the area around the mounting hole on the bell is consistent with later 1960s, although that correlation isn't firmly established yet. The look of the hammering on the top is more later 60s than earlier 60s as well.

Prices do depend a little on weight. Lighter ones get a little more. Here is a link to my price research:

With the keyhole I'd estimate $70 - $110 (based on 75 sales of 60s 20" cymbals) if it were for sale in the USA. Prices in the UK (Europe generally) tend to be a bit higher. I don't have a particular factor I can apply to do the adjustment.

He has 2 kits, one is an old Premier black pearl kit, pre international sizes etc but I'll be hanging onto that. The other kit he had more recently (early 90s I guess0 was a Mapex Mars Series, that was a bit easier to value & sell!

Yep, 2450g is definitely on the heavy side for a 20". Most of my 20s are from 1900 to 2200g. It wouldn't be a cymbal I would ever be interested in, but someone, possibly a rock/pop player may be very happy with it. Here in Central New Jersey, USA a cymbal like this would be available from a large musical instrument chain, like Sam Ash, for around $90-130 USD, slightly higher than Zenstat's estimate. I'm not a statistician like Zenstat. My estimates are based on the prices I actually see on used cymbals in my large local Sam Ash store. At any given time they have 15-20 used cymbals, mostly Avedis Zildjian, with many of them from the '60s. Finding a 60s Avedis Zildjian cymbal is relatively easy, accounting for the the modest current value. Earlier cymbals from the '50s and late '40s are much harder to find, are often hand hammered, tend to sound better, and as a result are more desirable and have more value. Finding old K. Zildjian cymbals in a store like this is virtually impossible since the few they acquire are scooped up by staff for themselves or for friends.

At 2450g that's in the top 20% for weights of 20" Avedis Zildjian ride cymbals in the 1960s. Some of those are light crashes (under 1850g for example) which I haven't trimmed out of my analysis, but you get the idea. It might be a PING or HEAVY model, but once the model ink has gone it is hard to say. I have one example of a cymbal with MEDIUM HEAVY RIDE ink on it which weighs 2327g. And one with MEDIUM RIDE ink weighs 2135g. Alas, cymbals with ink are scarce so it has taken a long time to find just a few examples with intact model ink and a weight.
