I've never played any Autocrat drums, but I know they are collectible. I believe they are English-made.

Autocrat was the top line series of drums from a British manufacturer called John Grey and sons. They stopped making drums in the late 60's under this name. As far as im aware the shells were birch, and have an excellent sound.
