My first thought is non-original badge.
Serial #s can be deceiving sometimes. Example: What I thought to be a 76 ludwig kit by serial # identification, turned out to be very early 70s. I was told that Ludwig mixed up serial numbers during certain periods.
If it was my guess, yours is an early 70s acrolite. If it was a rounded B/O badge, that would point to late 70s to early early 80s.

I think you are relying upon some bad information. The serial number dating charts are incomplete for the B/O badge era.
From the information I have gathered, the Pointy B/O badge started at around serial number 750000 in 1969 and continued through about serial number 2000000. The rounded corner badge replaced it. Therefore there are a very large number of drums with 7 digit serial numbers and B/O badges with pointed corners.
Yours was not lkely from the transition from Keystone badges, since it would be in the 750000 range. Yours did not appear until 300,000 later. That would be at least a few years production in the early 1970s.
It absolutely is not a 1969 I own a 1969 blue olive acro it would have a silver exterior your is a mid 70's model 100% positive on this! here is a pic of mine for you

No one has commented on the imperial lugs. Are there any markings to indicate that these have been switched with what were likely originally bowtie lugs? It is certainly possible that it came from the factory with imperials, but his would not have been typical.
