[help] Ludwig '76 players, change bass drum spurs

Loading...

Hey guys,

I've bought a Ludwig players set from '76 with a 22" bass.

The shell has got a little crack on the left spur side and I don't feel pretty good about it. I want to swap the spurs while gigging with it.

I now wanted to ask you guys, if there are more solid telescoping spurs with the exact same hole pattern out there. (as I don't want to drill new holes)

It has got the curved ones with the metal wing nut.

(doesn't have to be ludwig/atlas)

Thanks,

Gerold

What about clamp on spurs? There are a number of styles out there for cheap. It will take the stress off the original spurs and you don't need to drill that poor shell.

How about these?

They're no-drill, just replace a lug & I have a set I'll sell you :)
