Can anyone help me with any information about what this drum is? It is a 15 1/2” head and almost 10” deep. It appears to be a one ply shell with vertical grain and an outer veneer of curly maple(?). Outer ply could be something else. There are snare beds and holes for a strainer and butt. The drum was painted at onenn by point and stripped. But the original finish seems to be a laquer or varnish over the maple outer. The “lug” holes are confusing because there are two holes per side but they are not evenly drilled so possibly added on later. Sone outline of these lugs appears to be a rectangular two hole where others look like two individual rounds. Maybe for washers. Any help would be appreciated.
