Just a wild guess: 2002 prototype, early 80s?

The hammering looks like that of a power ride.

That definitely looks like a prototype, as it's only labeled with the company name

and what type of cymbal it is. Judging by the lathing and hammering, it looks like a

Sound Creation prototype. Here's one from ebay that looks very similar. Hope this helps !

I'd say the ride in question is unlikely to be a Sound Creation for several reasons. That ink style for prototypes suggests either signature (B15) or maybe 2002 (or other B8 lines). I've got a signature prototype with that ink, and I've had Sound Creation Dark Rides, and the hammering and lathing are a bit different. The prototype shown above has lathing and hammering which is more Signature in style. I'm less familiar with 2002 (and other B8 lines) which is why I'm not even sure whether prototype B8 cymbals had the same ink style. But the 2002s I've seen don't have that sort of hammering with the larger "golf ball" hammering in rings.

Here's my 21" which is presumed to be a Silver Mellow based on sound, diameter, and weight:

Mine has an eight digit serial number starting 03, so it is a 2003 produced cymbal following the usual conversion formula. Althought the 0 is a bit hard to distinguish from an 8, it wouldn't be 1983 because the Signature line didn't come out until 1989.

The Silver Mellow "golf ball" hammering is a little smaller and closer together than on some other models. There were a number of Signature 20" cymbals which had similar "golf ball" hammering to the one you are showing. If you want to get more info then ask the seller if it has a serial number and get those first two digits. Those will be at 6 o'clock on the top side of the cymbal under the bell. The other thing which would help determine the model is the weight. I've got a table of weights for different models.

There was much more info in the Paiste Only Wiki, but since it has gone dark it is more difficult to point you to quality documentation. The Full Ride model is one which has similar hammering:

Thanks for trying to help gentlemen. This cymbal is being sold with a drum set I do not have interest in and the seller will not sell it separately so I did enquire anymore about it.
