How we doing? I used some chrome and metal polish on some rims and metal parts for my Slingerland Radio King snare. At first it turned out really nice and shiney. I put the drum on the shelf, and now have decided to start using it.
When I pulled it down I noticed it wasn't real shiney on the top rim. Thinking that it was just some dust I put it on the stand and started using it. Now, I have looked closer, and all of the metal pieces have a haze over them.
Any ideas what caused it, or how to fix it? I was thinking it was all chrome hardware, maybe it is nickel? But, would that have an effect from the polish?
Thanks,
Kevin
