Hello Hayman man!
I have Hayman drums, wrap is "gold ingot"
There is a lot of scratches.
It is a difficult material to polish if anyone has any experience so what is the best way to polish.
No guesswork, but the experience-based knowledge.

because of the texture it really doesn't polish up. I found with mine that a light cleaning was the best that could be done. It's not a very durable wrap and the foil that sits between 2 layers of plastic (I think) can deteriorate and break down. This is why so many Hayman kits have been rewrapped.
I used 3M ScotchBrite automotive pads to do mine. I started with "red" on the real bad scratched areas, then on to "gray". which gave it the same texture as the original brushed look finish. It even took away some of the yellowing on some of the wrap. I then polished it with a spray automotive polish/wax and handed buffed the shells
Those came out beautiful, nopork.
