Hayman kick pedal...no ideas Last viewed: 4 days ago

Hey everyone,

I've been a long time reader on this forum, but until now haven't had much to say!

I've come across a Hayman kick pedal, but I've got no idea what the thing is worth - I'm predominantly aiming to sell it. It's for a friend who was given an old Tama imperialstar which I've been helping him do up - figure it makes more sense for him to have a pedal which will actually be good to him!

So, what do we think?

I haven't been able to find out much about the collectors side of Hayman hardware.

Hi, and welcome. Maybe check ebay UK listings and completed listings to get an idea. It may be of interest to an owner of a Hayman kit that needs a pedal but they're not too hard to get hold of. They are a good pedal but have some flaws and are often broken. I'd have thought a good, undamaged one might bring $30 - 40.

Hope this helps

Andrew

Welcome..To this great forum!!..In the U.S. Hayman pedals are somewhat hard to come by.The last one i know of sold on Ebay U.S.A if i recall right about 100.00 but it was in clean condition..I would say your pedal maybe 25.00 to 50.00 U.S. in the condition its in and is in working order.Oh if i recall right your pedal was made sometime late 60's to mid 1970's.....Mikey

thanks guys!

Unless anyone here is interested, I'll put it up on eBay - I'll probably offer international shipping, just to hedge my bets.

What you have there is a permutation of the Asba Caroline pedal made in France, one of the best-feeling and fastest pedals ever made (in my own and many other drummers' opinions). Personally, I'd clean it up, keep it and use it.
