The Ludwig Reversable pedal I think could be configured to play on the bottom head of a cocktail drum.
I used to have an old ludwig cocktail drum but never had the pedal. It was like a floor tom that was about 24" deep instead of 16"

Oh.It looks like the predecessor of the Ludwig Speedmaster. The frame of yours has the mount for twin springs, although you have just one. A pretty pedal. Congratulations.
