Hi Everyone.

I feel like i should lose the right to my forum name for selling this one...

here we have a BEAUTIFUL 60's Gretsch Round badge model #4157 snare drum is gold sparkle! aside from new Heads, this drum is 100% original and complete down to the Gretsch Responso snare wires!

micro sensitive snare strainer in excellent functional shape (with original lever!)

the chrome is excellent, no rust or pitting. I did Not clean the drum for pictures!

8 Lug, die cast hoops, 6 ply

silver sealer interior with no paper tag

no key holder installed

a STUNNING example of Gretsch at its Finest.

this drum sounds AMAZING. I really will be kicking myself for this.

hows about $550 shipped in the domestic US sound?

I'd love to have this drum. I have this same wrap in 3 Walberg & Auge drums: 20' bass, 12" & 13" rack toms. They have all Gretsch lugs and diecast rims, really nice drums. I need a snare and floor tom to complete this kit. I have been searching for either Gretsch or Walberg & Auge. So you can see my interest. But I couldn't offer but half of what you're asking. Hmm, hadn't thought of trading. Does it have to be drums? What about audio equipment or anything to do with motorcycles? If you say yes to anything other than drums, I'll make suggestions through PM's so check there next time. Feel free to make suggestions too.

on second thought, im just going to list this drum on ebay in the next day or so. my auctions are always 99 cents w/ no reserve :) feel free to bid on it there and good luck! ill put the link to ebay when its up.
