Gretsch Monster tom bolts

Loading...

I need two bolts for a late 70's Gretsch monster tom mounting system. The bolts that hold the tubes have stripped.

Anyone?

I'd buy the whole mount assembly if available even.

Anyone?

Are these the bolts that go in the bass drum mount? Look sort of like bulky Rogers swivo screws?

Yes. I need the ones on the bracket that are used to hold the tubes that the toms mount on. I was hoping it was a standard size and I could just get some bolts at the hardware store, but they appear to be proprietary. 8mm 1.00 pitch is close but no cigar.

Hmmm. I doubt its a proprietary size. I have one at home I'll try to find to measure for you. If a standard (non-metric) size bolt won't fit, it may be that it isn't the bolt but the nut it screws into that is messed up. Are you talking the mount that has two tubes going into the BD, or a single tube going into the BD?

It's the double tom mount.

The bracket may be the culprit but the bolts have paid the price as they're both toast.

I totally lucked out today and I bought a bracket and bolts on EBay.
