Just wanted to let you guys know that there is a brand spankin' new set of Gretsch Broad...whatevers out here at a local music store. They are the reissued drums made from old shell stock and that strange mottled hardware. I honestly don't recall the color ... I think it is ebony. Anyway, they've been sitting in this store for a LOOOOOOOOOONG time and have not left since they've arrived. The toms are a 10 and 12 with a 14 floor. I think the bass is a 20. It also comes with a matching snare. They are brand new so there's nothing to note for condition. He's got them marked at over four grand, but he would deal. He offered them to me quite a while back for just over 2 grand. I'm not a fan of a deeper 12 (12x9 I think), so I passed. I'm a bit picky about things like this.
