Gretsch 60's 4-point snare strainer throw-off

Loading...

I scored a very cheap 60's 6-lug Gretsch snare shell locally and actually found cheap 6-lug die-casts from the same era to go with it. The last part I need is the throw-off. It's a 4-point one, which I've not had any luck tracking down so far.

A couple different example pics are attached, either version would be fine with me.

Anyone? Thanks all!

There is a set of vintage 14" Gretsch 6-lug stick-chopper hoops available here:

These hoops are hard to find.

John

Too many great drums to list here!

I found the hoops! They didn't look quite that good but cost a lot less. Thanks for the heads up though!

Bump, I bought one of the latter pictured strainers, only to find it's not a Gretsch after all and doesn't quite fit. So I'm still in need of a 4-point Gretsch Renown throw-off from the 60's.

There's a nice four point on eBay right now. I also have one but I need a George Way/Camco throwoff in order to let it go.
