Greetings from a VDF newbie (I think?)

Hey all,

Just wanted to say hello. I'm "officially" new to VDF (though I could swear I registered quite a while back), but I've done plenty of lurking around these parts. I've also been on DrumForum for a few years now (good peeps, love it there as well) and I've been a drummer for more years than I care to date myself with in this post. :)

A lifelong Ludwig drummer, I got the vintage bug about 15 years ago. 70's 3-ply maple are my faves generally, but I also own, gig, & adore me some 60's KB's.

And I pair em all w/Paiste 2002's these days.

A dog lover, I have 2 awesome mutts, and naturally, the boy is named... "Ludwig."

Cheers!

Ha! I've got a dog named Zildjian.

Funny, when I was single I had a dog named Stix, not after the band, they had one more x but because I had him just a few days and he gnawed the nylon tip off of at least 3 drumsticks. I didn't name him after my drums because I was playing Pearls at the time.

After I got married, my next dog was named snowball!!! I hated that mutt.
