George Way Bass Drum Spur Mounts

Loading...

Hi,

Can someone please tell me which one of these Geo Way thumb screws is the original? These are bass drum spur mounts.

Thanks!

I would almost say neither one!

The rusted one looks too old,the other looks too cheap for a Geo Way drum...

I went downstairs and took a shot of the spur mount on my 59' Geo. Way bass drum. The hardware is all original, so this is the one, Geo. Way used.

Note: The ones on my BD have three stamped lines, yours does not. It might have been replaced along the way with another bolt that fit. The one in my photo is the original though.

Thank you John for showing me a photo and confirming the correct one.

One more question, can you tell me if this is an original George Way bass drum tension rod?

Yep! I have a set of factory faucet-handle T-rods on mine. That's the period correct T-rod and claw in your photo.
