Where can I find some generic badges at? Can someone post a link for me? Thanks

There used to be a guy on ebay selling reproductions, but I believe that he has stopped due to a "cease & desist" order from Ludwig themselves, since they do own the copyright to the design and still use it to this day.

Even used badges, which used to be so prevalent on there seem to have all but disappeared in recent times.

Could be in for a long search if no one here has any kicking around still......

Yes sir, there was a guy called "My Old Kentucky Drum" who sold many retro badges on the bay. I checked the bay, and he is gone.

He may still be on Facebook.

The 'My Old Kentucky Drums' dude is a good man. I've done a lot of business with him over the years. I checked his Facebook page and the last entry is from April:

"My Ludwig source for the last 20 years died in Janurary leaving me wit.h a small miscellaneous inventory remaining, unfortunately , The B/O and Keystone badges sold out quickly. I will continue selling my few misc. badges and grommets etc. until depleted. Then retire"

Which means... he may still have some 'generic badge' inventory left! I think he was getting 'real' badges from his Ludwig source.

The race goes to the swiftest! I would contact him via his Facebook page ASAP, pronto.

John

Too many great drums to list here!
