Sorry for the late notice, I only found out about this today. Drums for Drummers is having an open house on December 17 from about 10 a.m.–4 p.m. PST where excess used gear will be on sale to help the organization.
I was there today to tune up a donated kit before a teacher picks it up. I can't provide a full list, but there are a few vintage kits and snares along with more recent gear and student-level kits, along with plentiful snares, hardware, and cymbals.
The vintage stuff isn't pristine (a WMP Rogers had Tama mounting hardware and some Slingerland snares didn't have sticksaver rims), but while there are price tags, it my be possible to negotiate (keeping in mind that this is a charitable organization).
Might not be worth a long drive, but it could be if you're already in the area ... especially if you know someone who might like a drum set for Christmas.
I didn't ask if he was set up for credit, but I imagine that he is since several items are going for $500+ ... probably smart to call ahead.
