Anyone seen this Netflix special yet?? I’m hearing it is very funny!! LoLoLoLo. Think I’ll watch tonight when the better half has retired for the evening... she hears enough drums. :)

I watched it today "With" my better half. It was quite good, especially when he played a kit from every era. He had them lined in the middle of the audience. Btw, it was for drummers only, before entering, you had to play a rudiment on a drum pad to prove you were a drummer.D' Drummer

I find Fred Armisen's stand-up humor problematic...I mean, I don't know what to do with it. ;)

Funny Post. But seriously... I really don’t know what to do with it. Jose’s shop in Portland, Revival Drums, gets a nice little shout out. Worth watching but I’m glad I didn’t pay to see it. IMHO.

It might have been better if he had actually "played" something on those vintage kits that did them justice, rather than just his "shtick". :2Cents:

Like what, a five minute solo on each kit? I think what he did was fine. He should have left out the skit with Thomas Lang, that made absolutely no sense.

He is a strange dude... very funny in the right context. This was not the right context.

Net worth $8,000,000.00... strange all the way to the bank! Coffee Break2

I thought it was pretty cool. To have a comedy special with a drum theme? Mainstream enough for non-drummers to still hold interest. When is the last time a tv show was dedicated to a drummer for the whole episode? Karen Carpenter, mid 70's?
