Hobbs - It's champagne sparkle. That wrap always commands a premium because it's a scarce one. Especially on Club Date kits. You're not going to buy a keystone Club Date kit in good condition in champagne sparkle for less than $1100. +- When the wrap is in as nice condition as the one on Dr. Fills drum it justifies the asking price and insures that the drum will hold, or increase it's value in a future transaction. $345. for that drum in that condition -is- a good price. Maybe I'm prejudice because I have a 60's rail mount sitting in my parts stash so that the missing rail mount isn't an issue for me, but I think he's asking a fair price for what it is. That's a great little drum to build a kit around...John

Respectfully disagree. 1st - drfills states it's a players bd. Looking where the consolette was you'll see the fade under sunshine (everyone wants to know nature of wrap darkening/fade ... so best advertising is taking photos with hoops off; anything short of that, IMO, = hiding how bad it is).
Sparkle is not a rare wrap on CD kits. It's less common than red or blue - + preferable; and yes, will fetch more than the other sparkles. Rare wraps on CD kits = BDP, SBP, OBP, etc ... these were not standard and were special orders.
I've learned most if not all of this on the forum here over years.
+ I have a champagne sparkle 12" tom + 20" bass with very light darkening on ebay now @ $800 BIN w/ offers that I have yet to receive an offer on (missing 1 hoop inlay). With the floor tom this easily would be a $1500 kit.
