I need an ID on this tom it has no badge but has two small holes ,I have photos but not good.
floor tom
Hi,looks like some Japan stencil kit.Try at Tama catalogs 1966 No11 page, where are Star drums catalog.Looks similar
________
But this tom has no badge, has two holes some name logo or plate,or script.could it be from pearl.
Maybe this will help I do have the mounted tom and bass drum, but they had little or no hard ware I modafied the tom and bass I do have photo of what hard ware I have I have an L arm symble holder a tom bracket and you can see how I modified the tom and bass and you can see where I filled the holes on the bass where the rale mount should be I hope this helps.
I am sur that on the forum are guys with much more knowledge on stencil *** kits then I,but from what I know, there are many variations of tom and bass drum holders and mounts during production. For example this tom holder is from Tama drum mate tom.It is rail consolete type on bass drum
________
So both pearl and tama made both types of mounts on ther sets.
Sorry, but Tama never made this type of mounts.
Furtheron, Star (predecessor of Tama) also never used this hardware
(but that one Dule made pics of).
My best guess: it's from Hoshino. And I mean: Hoshino-Kougyou, NOT
Hoshino-Gakki. Hoshino-Gakki is Tama (and was: Star). The other Hoshino, Kougyou, is a totally different company and does no longer exist.
(Drums under the brand 'Hoshino' are often confused with Tama's Hoshino-Gakki, but that's not correct.)
Greetings - Ralf
The black hardware that is on the drums I put on because the set had only the cymbal L arm and tom arm holder (in photo) I hope you dont thank it came on the drums. the tom mount would have an L rod to hald it. so I had this hardware.
