I use Gibraltar ones also and they make a huge awesome difference on my 3 ply drums for sure. Put them on my bass drums too sometimes.

I use both and find zero difference between the two, both increase resonance.
Anyone try the new Gaugers?

I have a set of the Pearl ones that I will try...
Cheers
I have them on every floor tom I own and every bass drum. They open up the sound of any drum you put them on. Been recommending them to everybody for years. Great product. Like getting a new drum for three bucks.

Bumping an old thread...
I need to replace rubber feet on a few floor tom legs and bass drum spurs on my '65 Club Dates. I've used the funky looking Pearl isolation feet on other kits and the improvement in tone was amazing (worth dealing with the funky looking feet). So I'm already sold on this approach.
I'd like to use the Gibraltar isolation feet discussed in this thread, but they are for 10.5 mm diameter legs. The Club Date FT legs and BD spurs are both 9.5mm (3/8"). Will the 10.5 mm feet be too loose, or will they be snug enough to not fall off during regular set up and tear down? Gibraltar also makes 3/8" size feet, but not sure they provide the same isolation feature.
Hoping someone here has tried using these on the straight Club Date (Clipper style) 3/8" legs and can comment. Thanks in advance!
